The Ghorepani Poonhill trek is a trek in low altitude (max altitude is around 3210) in the Annapurna region with a beautiful view on the Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu ranges. Poon Hill is the best view point for a sunrise. The best time to be there is either in winter while there is fresh snow or in spring when the rhododendrons blossom.

Day: 01  Arrive in Kathmandu Airport and our representatave will transfer you to your Hotel

In Kathmandu Hotel, our representative and guide will meet you there and tell you detail about your trek.

Day: 02  Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist bus /car(about 7 hours)

Kathmandu to Pokhara distance is about 200 km.You can view green hills, beautiful valleys and some mountain views on the way. In Pokhara where overnight accommodation with BB Plan is arranged.

Day: 03  Pokhara to Nayapul by drive 1&half hour, then trek toTikhedhunga.(1540m)approx 5 hr

We take breakfast at the hotel and drive to Nayapul (starting point 1:30hr) by private transport and trek to Tikhedhunga approx 5hr.  Today we will not see the Himalayas, but enjoy the local people, culture and green fields. Lunch will be served on the way and dinner will be served at the lodge we stay. Overnight in the lodge/Guest House Bathroom outside (B.L.D. With tea or coffee.)

Day: 4  Trek to Tikhedhunga to Ghoripani(2880m) approx 6hrs

After breakfast we proceed with the trek to Ghorepani approx 6 hrs. Today the track goes along forests with oaks and rhododendrons until we arrive at Ghorepani (2880M) where we have a perfect view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Overnight in ‚ÄčHotel  (Bathroom outside) 

Day: 5  Ghorepani to Tadapani (2590m) approx7 hrs

We will wake you up early in the morning and we will hike to Poon Hill (1 hour) 3210m to see the most magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas (Mt. Dhaulagiri I to VI, Nilgiri,  Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail, Manaslu and many others). Back at the lodge we take breakfast and continue our trek to Tadapani for approx 7 hr. From Tadapani we get the best view of Fishtail and Annapurna South. Lunch will be served on the way and dinner at the lodge. Overnight stay in the lodge at Tadapani. 

Day: 6  Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m) approx 4 hrs

Today is an easy day. We take breakfast and walk down to Ghandruk (approx 4 hr.). This is the biggest Gurung village. We will visit the Gurung Ethnic Museum, monastery, and Gurung village. Lunch will be served on the way and dinner at the lodge. Enjoy the view of South Annapurna, Hiunchuli, Fishtail and Mardi Himal and have a good sleep. Overnight stay in the lodge 

Day: 7  Trek Ghandruk to Nayapul approx 4 hrs and drive to Pokhara.

We have breakfast and trek to Nayapul where our car will be waiting for us and drive us back to Pokhara. Take an easy walk around the lake side and after dinner have a good sleep. Lunch will be provided, but dinner is not included. Overnight in  hotel  in Pokhara.

Day: 8  Pokhara to Kathmandu (by drive) approx 7 hrs

Take an early breakfast and leave in a private vehicle  from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day: 9  Deprature time

We will drop you off at the airport for your departure to your sweet home. Have a nice journey back home!
